Danny Davis – Executive Director

Danny is one of the leading global experts in Long Term Value, Future-Accounting/Audit and Enhanced Governance. He serves as an international expert contributor on the development of ISO standards for Organisational Governance, IT Governance, Governance implications of the organisational use of artificial intelligence – and, as an Australian expert in IT Project, Service and Security Governance standards development.

He serves as not-for-profit Chair of Link Community Transport, and Community Accessibility. Director, Vandis Advisory. Director, Flying Colours Events. He is an Author, Executive Mentor, and Business Futurist keynote speaker.

Danny has been engaged by some of Australia’s leading companies as the recognised global expert in the crossover between governance and innovation as it leads to achievement of sustained value creation performance. Danny provides differentiated strategic advisory to ASX10 directors, CEOs, executives, start-ups, governments and collaborative networks. Twice awarded ‘fast-50’ as CEO of a high-tech startup, and as mentor to other leaders, Danny is a professional discipline polymath, and a strategic technology, innovation and organisational governance master-craftsman.

Danny has served on the Faculty Board of Latrobe University’s Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, Chair of risk committee at Bialik College, as Secretary of the Food and Agriculture Innovation Initiative at Monash University, Executive Director of the CIO Institute of Australia, Director of the Victorian Abalone Central Zone Interim Board.

He has lectured in International Management at Victoria University, and delivered executive development for CPA, Governance Institute of Australia and the Project Management Institute. He was Chair of the Australasian CIO Summit, the Connected Government Forum, Communiqué Director of the Australia 3.0 (Ideas for Australia’s Innovation Economy) Forum, and facilitator of its Technology and Innovation Mining Stream. He served on the Editorial Advisory Board for Strategic Path Magazine, and was awarded the UK computer book of the year award (1985). He was Festival Co-Director of the 2012 South Melbourne Street Fair.

Danny’s PhD thesis “Governance of Value Creation: An Integrated Multi-Disciplinary Model for Sustained Value-Creation in Large-Scale Organisations” is currently with examiners.

 

Lars Schiphorst – Executive Director

Executive Director, Australian Institute of Performance Sciences. Chair Connect Health & Community, Chair Sandringham Ambulatory Care Centre, and Deputy Chair of Link Community Transport where he has adapted leading strategic governance frameworks for fit-for-purpose use in the Not-For-Profit sector.

Lars has worked extensively with major corporate and Government clients in Australia, Asia and the UK focusing on enhancing corporate governance, operational management and the governance of technology and strategic change projects. Collaborating with his clients Lars structures the strategic changes necessary to achieve sustainable step-change in organisational performance.

Previously, Lars served on the Board of the Australasian Sonographers Association, where he was an external director and also chaired the finance and risk committee. He has worked as Consulting Director, Practice Director, Senior Manager and Lead Consultant across a range of global and boutique Management and Technology Consulting firms including KPMG, BDO, Unisys and Zeal, as well as delivering to in-house strategy positions in Multi-nationals.

Lars has lectured on governance, strategy and risk management for the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Institute of Internal Auditors and for a range of in-house executive development programs for multi-national corporations.
